Walking Try-Outs: Microplastics
A Walking Scores Companion
This companion gathers the walking scores used in Walking Try-Outs: Microplastics, a participatory stage of my doctoral research in Landscape Studies at the University of Turku.
A score is a set of conditions for practice. It offers orientation without determining direction. Each score here creates the conditions for walking with microplastics, while leaving open what may emerge.
How the scores are used
The scores accompany three to five walks you are already taking, unfolding over roughly a month. A Ground Score accompanies every walk; the remaining scores are not arranged in a sequence and may be revisited, combined, or adapted. Traces may take any form — a photograph, a sound recording, a drawing, a few words, or something else entirely.
